This Dragonwilds equipment database covers 24 selected weapons and armour sets for progression decisions. It brings together the equipment used in our existing weapon and armour guides, with a source, snapshot date and clear unknown fields. It is a focused reference, not a complete game-item database.
Read the date before the number
The equipment values come from the September 22, 2026 community-wiki research snapshot used by this site's existing guides. They describe the 1.0 equipment set. The site checked the official 1.0.1 notes on October 15 and records the relevant changes separately. Reading those patch notes does not reverify every older weapon value.
Use the catalog to shortlist a route, then consult the linked source and your installed game before spending scarce materials. A blank value means the catalog does not establish that field, or the field is not applicable. It does not mean zero damage, zero defence, or a free recipe.
What each comparison means
| Field | Useful comparison | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Power level | Progression stage and available alternatives | Not a universal performance ranking |
| Melee damage range | Weapons within a comparable melee role | Does not include attack speed or a DPS model |
| Ranged listed damage | A dated weapon reference | Does not calculate ammunition, perks or final hits |
| Rune multiplier | Magic weapons using the same unit | Cannot be compared directly with melee damage |
| Block and combo | Defensive and moveset context | Does not describe every shield or animation |
| Acquisition | Craft target versus reward or unlock | No drop rate or expected farming time is inferred |
Make a craftable shortlist first
For melee, compare the Rune Mace, Sword, Scimitar and Dagger inside the one-handed group. Choose Rune Greataxe, Warhammer or Greatsword when you deliberately want a two-handed route. Specialist weapons such as the Shadow Sword belong to a target-specific shortlist rather than a universal top slot.
For ranged, compare Magic Longbow, Yew Longbow, Bow of Elidinis and Rune Crossbow with their handling and ammunition requirements in mind. Dragon Crossbow is a reward option. For magic, Ancestral Wand and Staff are craftable targets while Kuldra’s Wrath is a reward option.
The armour entries represent whole set families: Rune, Black Dragonhide, Ancestral and Dragon. Their power levels are cataloged, while per-piece defence totals are deliberately absent. A full-set entry must not be interpreted as one equippable item.
Read the best-weapons guide for moveset context and the armour guide for class bonuses and early material totals. Use the combat-build routes when the decision is how the equipment fits together.
Apply the 1.0.1 exceptions
The official notes give Rune arrows and bolts a 4.9x value against Adamant's 4.2x and introduce separate ranged subclass specials. They add separate Ring and Amulet slots and reduce Amulet of Glory bonuses without listing the new values. These changes are recorded as patch notes rather than silently rewriting unrelated equipment numbers.
If you need an exact post-patch Amulet of Glory total, this catalog cannot supply it. If you need a finished DPS ranking, additional verified mechanics and tests are required. A precise-looking result built from unknown fields would be misleading.
