Start The Great Body Robbery by speaking to Doctor Fenkenstrain in Bloodblight Swamp. Bring a Bronze or better Spade, recover the Human Torso, Goblin Legs, and Garou Arms from graves, then return to his examination table. The later stages require three specific weak potions and a bottle filled by being struck by lightning. The quest ends after the doctor's experiment and a final conversation with him.
This is a sequence of collection, dialogue, and scenery interactions. Finding all three body parts is only the first major stage. Do not leave after delivering them: the potions, empty vial, lightning collection, head placement, and pylon interaction all belong to the same quest.
Prepare for the swamp and the doctor's experiment
The quest lists partial or full Dragon Slayer completion as its progression requirement. You do not need to repeat that whole quest here, but your character must be far enough into it for this secondary quest to become available.
| Item | Role in The Great Body Robbery |
|---|---|
| Bronze or better Spade | Dig up the coffins containing the body parts |
| 1 Weak Antipoison Potion | Required for the doctor's potion stage |
| 1 Weak Focused Attack Potion | Required for the doctor's potion stage |
| 1 Weak Lumberjack Potion | Required for the doctor's potion stage |
| Additional antipoison supply | Useful while traveling through Bloodblight Swamp |
| Armour and food | Help you survive the journey and later lightning collection |
Separate the potion reserved for the quest from potions you intend to drink while traveling. If you consume your only Weak Antipoison Potion before the doctor requests it, you still need another copy for his experiment. The required item is the weak version, so bringing a stronger potion is not a confirmed substitute.
The quest does not require an enemy kill as an explicit objective. That does not make the swamp empty or harmless. Your main task is to reach graves and return with their contents; fighting every nearby enemy is not a requirement for recovering a particular body part.
Find Doctor Fenkenstrain in Bloodblight Swamp
Look for the doctor's tower beside the Garou camp around the Bloodwood tree. He is on the same floor as the Sanguine Urn. Use the tower, nearby camp, and floor reference together rather than stopping at the first structure that looks like a laboratory.
Speak to him until he asks for help collecting body parts. The opening dialogue choices do not change the request: he needs arms, legs, and a torso. Finish that conversation before leaving for the graves so you are following the quest's active collection stage.

The Sanguine Urn is a location reference here, not a required object for the experiment. You do not have to turn this quest into a separate urn hunt. Once you have found the doctor, make the collection objective your next task and keep his tower as your return point.
Recover the Human Torso
The Human Torso grave is near the Abyssal Demon, in the center of three trees. Search for a headstone in that area. The interaction begins with your Spade: digging exposes a coffin, and interacting with the coffin gives you the body part.
Do not confuse reaching the landmark with collecting the item. Check your inventory after opening the coffin. A grave you have uncovered is not necessarily a completed collection if you have not interacted with its contents.
The nearby demon identifies the area; defeating it is not a listed requirement for this quest. Plan your movement around reaching the grave and surviving the return route. If the area is too dangerous for your current equipment, improve your preparation instead of assuming the torso requires a boss victory.
Recover the Goblin Legs
The Goblin Legs grave is north of the torso coffin, between two trees. Use the torso location as the starting reference and move north while checking for the next headstone. This relative direction is more useful after you have identified the first grave than it is from the doctor's tower.
Repeat the same collection sequence: use the Spade near the headstone, uncover the coffin, interact with it, and confirm the Goblin Legs are in your inventory. The task is recovering a named quest item, rather than killing a goblin and hoping its ordinary loot includes the legs.
If you found this grave before the torso, you can still use its position to orient yourself. Keep track of which item you actually collected. A list of three graves is easier to manage by the items in your inventory than by remembering only which clearings you visited.
Recover the Garou Arms
The Garou Arms grave is near the northern entrance to Bloodblight Swamp. Search for its headstone and dig up the coffin with your Spade. Interact to collect the arms, then check the complete set before returning.
Your inventory should now contain Human Torso, Goblin Legs, and Garou Arms. These are three different items. Revisiting one grave does not replace the part from another, and a collection route is not complete while one of the named parts is still missing.
A useful route check is to pair each item with its landmark: torso near the demon and three trees, legs north of that coffin between two trees, arms near the swamp's northern entrance. If you become disoriented, identify which of those three references you last confirmed rather than extending the search to unrelated regions.
Place the parts on the examination table
Return to Doctor Fenkenstrain after collecting all three parts. Speak to him first. He then asks you to place them on the nearby examination table. Interact with the table and speak to him again to continue the experiment.
This order matters because the quest alternates between the doctor's conversation and the laboratory scenery. Arriving with the parts does not make the entire laboratory stage happen automatically. Finish the delivery dialogue, use the requested object, then return to the doctor for the next instruction.
He asks you to examine the parts and bring one Weak Antipoison Potion, one Weak Focused Attack Potion, and one Weak Lumberjack Potion. If you prepared them earlier, check their names and quantities now. If one is missing, replace that specific potion instead of gathering another set of body parts.
Complete the three-potion stage
Bring the three requested weak potions back to the doctor. Speak to him again, then use the potions as the experiment instructs. The sequence proceeds from the body parts to the chemical treatment; it does not require you to consume all three potions as ordinary self-buffs.
Keep the required potions available until the relevant interaction is complete. The experiment uses their specific identities. A potion with a similar purpose but a different strength is not a verified replacement for the requested weak item.
After this stage, the doctor says the body needs lightning and gives you an empty vial. Confirm that you have reached this dialogue before traveling to collect lightning. A thunderstorm encountered during the earlier grave search is not enough if you have not received the quest's vial yet.
Fill the vial by being struck by lightning
You need an actual lightning strike to fill the empty vial. The two supported approaches are waiting for a thunderstorm event in a region or going to Stormtouched Highlands and waiting to be struck there.
Seeing a storm, hearing thunder, or standing near an electrical effect is not the stated completion condition. The relevant result is the Lightning-in-a-bottle item. Check for that item before beginning the journey back to Fenkenstrain.
Choose the approach that fits your current route. If a thunderstorm is already occurring where you are, you can use that opportunity after receiving the vial. If you would otherwise be waiting for weather, Stormtouched Highlands provides the other described destination. Neither approach supplies an exact waiting time or a guaranteed next strike.
Prepare food and armour for this stage as well as for the swamp. You are intentionally allowing a hazardous event to hit your character, so arrive ready to survive it. The quest does not establish an immunity trick that fills the bottle without the strike.
Once the item changes to Lightning-in-a-bottle, stop treating the vial as unfinished. Return to the doctor with the filled item rather than staying in the storm for additional strikes. The required collection goal is one successful bottle, not a set of different regional lightning samples.
Finish the head and pylon interactions
Speak to Doctor Fenkenstrain after returning with Lightning-in-a-bottle. He asks you to place his head on the incomplete body at the examination table. Interact with that body first, then use the bottle on the nearby pylon.
The pylon is the final experiment's scenery interaction. Applying the bottle to the wrong object or trying it before the head is in place does not follow the described sequence. If you are unsure which step remains, inspect the active instruction and confirm the last object you interacted with.
After the pylon interaction, the experiment swaps the doctor's head with the nearby chicken's head. The next conversation is with the doctor on the chicken's body. Do not keep searching the old laboratory position for the unchanged version of him.
Speak to him in this new state to receive the reward and finish the quest. The unexpected result is part of the quest's ending, rather than proof that you collected the wrong arms or chose the wrong potion.
Confirm the reward and locate an unfinished stage
The rewards are one Zombie Arm and the recipe for a Lightning Rod. This quest is not listed as a requirement for completing another quest, so those rewards are the immediate result to check after the final conversation.
If you have the three body parts but no vial, return to the examination table and potion dialogue stages. If you have an empty vial, complete a lightning strike rather than revisiting the graves. If you have Lightning-in-a-bottle, follow the doctor's head instruction, use the pylon, and speak to his transformed version.
A dialogue stall is different from a missing collection item. Confirm the exact stage and required item before attempting more gathering. There is no verified universal workaround that guarantees progression through every dialogue problem, and repeatedly collecting unrelated materials cannot be assumed to repair one.
