You can equip one ring and one amulet at the same time in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Craft rings at a Jeweler's Bench; several also need a recipe item or a completed side quest before they become available. The current community catalogue lists 14 rings: nine skill XP rings and five with combat, survival or utility effects.
The separate slots are a Jagex 1.0.1 change. Advice that tells you to choose between a ring and an amulet because they share one accessory slot is out of date for that version. This page covers wearable jewellery; Fairy Rings are a different subject.
Crafting rings at the Jeweler's Bench
Pick up a Silver Bar to unlock the bench in your Build Menu. The Jeweler's Bench entry records its construction cost as 12 Oak Planks, 8 Ground Sandstone, 2 Gold Bars, 2 Silver Bars and 1 Vault Core.
Use the Jeweler's Bench, then select the ring whose recipe you have unlocked. Having the listed bars and gems is not enough for rings with a separate recipe unlock.

All costs below produce one ring. The recipes come from the community Wiki's trinket catalogue and individual ring entries checked on 20 October 2026; they are community records rather than an official Jagex recipe list.
| Ring or recipe group | Materials for one ring |
|---|---|
| Each Inspiring Ring | 1 Clay Mould, 2 Silver Bars, 2 Opals, 3 Vault Shards |
| Ring of Pursuit | 1 Clay Mould, 2 Silver Bars, 2 Opals, 3 Vault Shards |
| Ring of Recoil | 1 Clay Mould, 2 Gold Bars, 2 Sapphires, 3 Vault Shards |
| Ring of Life | 1 Clay Mould, 2 Gold Bars, 2 Diamonds, 3 Vault Shards |
| Abraxus Ring | 1 Clay Mould, 2 Silver Bars, 2 Sapphires, 6 Vault Shards, 8 Necrotic Bonemeal |
| Ravanna's Ring | 1 Clay Mould, 2 Silver Bars, 2 Red Topaz, 3 Vault Shards |
Choose the recipe by its full name. Vault Shards are ingredients for making these rings; the Vault Cores used to repair a triggered Ring of Life are a different item.
All nine Inspiring Rings
Each Inspiring Ring gives 5% additional XP for its named skill while equipped. They share the same material cost, but crafting one does not create a universal ring that boosts every skill.
| Ring | XP bonus | Acquisition |
|---|---|---|
| Inspiring Ring of Artisan | +5% Artisan XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Construction | +5% Construction XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Cooking | +5% Cooking XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Mining | +5% Mining XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Runecrafting | +5% Runecrafting XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Woodcutting | +5% Woodcutting XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Farming | +5% Farming XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Fishing | +5% Fishing XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
| Inspiring Ring of Agility | +5% Agility XP | Craft at the Jeweler's Bench |
Equip the ring that matches the activity you are about to perform. An Inspiring Ring of Mining helps Mining XP; it does not promise extra ore, faster mining or a damage increase. The same distinction applies to the other skill rings.
The individual Artisan ring and Agility ring entries record the bonus and shared crafting cost. Combat XP amulets belong to the separate amulet slot, rather than this nine-ring group.
The five rings with special effects
| Ring | Effect | How to unlock or obtain it |
|---|---|---|
| Ring of Recoil | Returns damage to attackers when you take damage | Obtain A Cracked Bronze Vanity Mirror from green dragons to unlock the recipe, then craft it |
| Ring of Life | Teleports you to your current bed or bedroll at low health; breaks on activation | Buy the Sigil of a Phoenix recipe unlock at Death's Exchange in Fellhollow for 800 Soul Fragments, then craft it |
| Ring of Pursuit | Makes animals less aware of your presence | Obtain a Carved Bone Animal Lure from lesser dragons to unlock the recipe, then craft it |
| Abraxus Ring | Has a chance to reduce the rune cost of utility spells | Complete What Remains is Written for the ring and its recipe |
| Ravanna's Ring | Has a chance to grow a Corpse Cotton plant where an enemy dies | Complete A Melody Remembered for the ring and its recipe |
Ring of Recoil for returned damage
The Ring of Recoil entry records returned damage equal to 50% of the damage taken, rounded up. Its effect depends on taking a hit; it is not a flat bonus to the attacks you make.

If the recipe is missing, check for A Cracked Bronze Vanity Mirror. Farming enough gold and sapphires does not replace that unlock. Green dragons are the recorded recipe source; red-dragon amulet discussions are not a reason to farm red dragons for this ring.
Ring of Life for an emergency return
The Ring of Life entry describes activation at 10% health, returning you to your current bed or bedroll. It becomes broken after activation and costs 2 Vault Cores to repair. The same entry lists the Artisan 90 Magical Mending upgrade as an alternative repair method.

Check its condition after it saves you and confirm which bed you currently use. The ring's low-health effect is an emergency return, rather than a freely reusable travel ability. Buying the recipe also has a separate 800 Soul Fragment cost; those fragments do not replace the diamonds, gold or other crafting ingredients.
Ring of Pursuit for hunting
The Ring of Pursuit entry records an 80% reduction in animals' awareness of your presence. That makes it a hunting option. It does not establish that every hostile creature becomes unaware of you or that you are invisible.
Its recipe is Carved Bone Animal Lure, rather than the vanity mirror used for Recoil. Pursuit's silver-and-opal crafting cost happens to match an Inspiring Ring, but it has a different effect and unlock.
Abraxus Ring for utility spell costs
Complete What Remains is Written to receive the ring and unlock additional copies at the Jeweler's Bench. The Abraxus Ring entry describes a chance to reduce the rune cost of utility spells and explicitly gives no fixed number of runes refunded.
Choose it for utility casting when that benefit suits your task. Do not budget a guaranteed refund on every cast or read the effect as a direct magic-damage bonus.
Ravanna's Ring for Corpse Cotton
Complete A Melody Remembered in the Stormtouched Highlands. Interact with the music box on a desk in a ruined building south of the Garou King's fortress, then give it:
- An Inspiring Ring of Runecrafting.
- An Amulet of Magic when it asks for the second item.
The second item is the ordinary Amulet of Magic, not the Inspiring Amulet of Magic. The quest walkthrough lists Dragon Slayer as the requirement for access to that amulet. If you need to craft it, its recorded cost is 1 Clay Mould, 2 Gold Bars, 2 Silver Bars, 4 Sapphires and 6 Vault Shards. Craft the Runecrafting ring using the shared Inspiring Ring recipe above.
The reward is Ravanna's Ring and its recipe. While equipped, it can grow Corpse Cotton where enemies fall. The ring entry records durability consumption when this effect triggers, so monitor its condition rather than assuming every kill creates a permanent free supply.
Pick a ring for the task ahead
For a focused skilling session, start with the matching Inspiring Ring. For hunting animals, consider Pursuit. For utility casting, Abraxus addresses rune expenditure. Ravanna's adds a chance at Corpse Cotton during combat, while Recoil and Life serve different combat needs: returned damage versus an emergency escape.
You can make those choices alongside an amulet because the slots are separate. There is no need to label one ring the best for every build. In particular, Jagex also reduced unintended Amulet of Glory bonuses in 1.0.1, so old claims comparing its extra damage with a ring do not establish a current universal winner.
