RuneScape Dragonwilds Infinity Cloth

Quick Answer

The material feeds power level 7 equipment, including the Infinity robe set, several Lunar Garou pieces, the Adamant Scimitar, and advanced magic weapons.

Make Infinity Cloth at a roofed Loom with a Loom Harness nearby by combining 1 Desert Cloth with 9 Shimmerscale Powder. Each operation produces one Infinity Cloth and awards 40 Artisan experience. The material feeds power level 7 equipment, including the Infinity robe set, several Lunar Garou pieces, the Adamant Scimitar, and advanced magic weapons.

Plan from the item you intend to craft before converting your Desert Cloth. A complete three-piece Infinity robe set needs 12 Infinity Cloth, so the cloth-processing stage alone requires 12 Desert Cloth and 108 Shimmerscale Powder. That does not cover the set's leather, metal, obsidian, wax, or Garou Weave requirements.

Identify the Material and Its Crafting Station

The Loom needs a roof above it to operate, and this recipe requires its Loom Harness upgrade. Place the Harness within nine metres of the Loom; each Harness supports only one station, with the closest Loom receiving the extra slot. If a sheltered Loom cannot make this cloth, check the Harness and which Loom it is upgrading before gathering more ingredients. The Fine Cloth station guide explains the shared Loom and Harness unlock and building setup.

Infinity Cloth is a processed material. Its inventory weight is 0.6 per item, and its stack limit is 50. The recipe belongs to the Loom, which is the station you need to check when you have the ingredients ready.

Do not bring the two inputs to the Armour Bench and expect them to count as finished Infinity Cloth. The bench is used for the robe pieces, while the Loom completes this intermediate material. Similarly, Desert Cloth is a required ingredient but is not itself interchangeable with Infinity Cloth in a final equipment recipe.

The recipe's 40 value is Artisan experience awarded, not evidence of a required Artisan level of 40. A material table that lists an experience amount does not establish the unlock condition. Check the recipe's availability at your station rather than treating the XP output as a skill gate.

The material is primarily associated with power level 7 armour, but that is a description of its equipment uses. It does not turn the loose cloth into armour or make carrying it equivalent to having crafted the corresponding robe piece.

Produce Infinity Cloth at the Loom

Start by deciding how many finished pieces your next craft requires. Check your stored Infinity Cloth first, then calculate only the remaining amount. For example, if an Infinity Robe Body requires six and you already own two, the remaining Loom target is four cloth, not a new six-item batch.

  1. Inspect the equipment recipe you want to complete and note its Infinity Cloth cost.
  2. Count the finished cloth already available in your inventory or storage.
  3. Set a Loom target for the remaining quantity.
  4. Reserve one Desert Cloth and nine Shimmerscale Powder for every new cloth.
  5. Use the Infinity Cloth recipe at the Loom.
  6. Collect the output and keep it available for the equipment recipe that justified the batch.

The conversion is exact. If you have plenty of Desert Cloth but less than nine powder, you do not have the inputs for one complete operation. If you have plenty of powder but no Desert Cloth, the recipe is also incomplete. Count both inputs independently rather than using a large stack of one material as a sign that the whole batch is ready.

A useful production limit is the smaller of your available Desert Cloth count and the number of complete nine-powder groups. With ten Desert Cloth and 45 powder, you can make five Infinity Cloth; five of the Desert Cloth remain unused. With three Desert Cloth and 90 powder, you can make three cloth, leaving 63 powder.

These are ingredient calculations, not estimates of processing time. The recipe establishes the amount consumed and the output awarded, but it does not provide a basis for promising how many finished cloth you will obtain per minute.

Calculate the Batch from the Final Craft

Every Infinity Cloth multiplies the powder requirement by nine. Keep that multiplier separate from the other ingredients used at the Armour Bench or Mystic Forge. This makes it easier to tell whether the Loom stage or the finished equipment stage is holding up the craft.

4436160

The amounts in this table come directly from repeating the one-cloth recipe. They assume you craft the entire target at the Loom. If you already own some finished cloth, subtract those pieces before multiplying the remaining count.

Avoid converting every Desert Cloth you own just because Infinity Cloth is a later processed material. Desert Cloth has its own uses. Reserve the quantity needed for the immediate Infinity craft and leave unrelated supplies alone until you decide what to make next.

Prepare the Infinity Robe Pieces

The Infinity robe set is power level 7 magic armour crafted through the Armour Bench. The hat, body, and legs need different quantities, although their supporting ingredients follow the same proportional pattern.

Infinity Robe Hat211112
Infinity Robe Body633336
Infinity Robe Legs422224

Making the hat first therefore requires two cloth, which represents two Desert Cloth and 18 powder at the Loom. The body requires six cloth, or six Desert Cloth and 54 powder. The legs require four cloth, or four Desert Cloth and 36 powder.

Choose the piece that matches your actual equipment plan rather than assuming the whole set must be completed in one session. The cloth recipe supports a two-item target just as directly as a twelve-item target. You can prepare the ingredients for one piece without committing the supplies for the other two.

The set's listed defence values are also different by piece. The hat provides 18 melee, 19 ranged, and 21 magic defence; the body provides 45, 47, and 53; the legs provide 27, 28, and 32. Together, the three pieces total 90 melee, 92 ranged, and 106 magic defence. Those values describe the completed armour, not a bonus granted by the cloth in your inventory.

If all twelve cloth are ready but a robe piece remains unavailable to craft, review the supporting ingredients in the piece's row. Cloth is only one part of the recipe. A shortage of Garou Weave or Refined Obsidian will not be solved by producing additional Infinity Cloth.

Reserve Cloth for Other Equipment

Infinity Cloth also appears in weapon and Lunar Garou recipes. Keep a separate count for each intended craft so that preparing one item does not accidentally consume the cloth reserved for another.

Lunar Garou Robe LegsArmour Bench46 Garou Weave, 2 Garou Artifact, 2 Refined Obsidian, 2 Gypsum Wax
Lunar Garou RobesArmour Bench69 Garou Weave, 3 Garou Artifact, 3 Refined Obsidian, 3 Gypsum Wax

The Master Wand and Master's Staff are useful examples of why the final item matters. Their cloth costs differ, as do their Yew Logs, Refined Obsidian, Dragonstone, and Gypsum Wax costs. Choosing the weapon before the batch prevents a vague magic-equipment target from becoming an unnecessarily large powder conversion.

For a combined plan, add the cloth costs first. An Infinity Robe Hat plus a Master Wand uses four Infinity Cloth in total. That means four Desert Cloth and 36 Shimmerscale Powder for the Loom stage. The hat and wand still have separate final recipes at different facilities, so combine only the shared cloth requirement rather than treating them as one crafting operation.

A full Infinity robe set plus a Master's Staff needs 16 Infinity Cloth. The material stage for that combination is 16 Desert Cloth and 144 powder. Keep the four cloth intended for the staff separate when preparing the armour bench queue, or the shared supply can disappear into the robe pieces before you reach the forge.

Store Finished Cloth Without Losing the Input Count

Infinity Cloth stacks to 50. A stack boundary is an inventory limit, not a special crafting bonus or a requirement to produce exactly 50. Small, planned batches remain valid, and a partial stack is often easier to match to a specific equipment target.

Keep the processed material distinct from Desert Cloth and Shimmerscale Powder when checking your supplies. The three names describe separate stages. A chest containing the powder and Desert Cloth has the ingredients for a craft, while a chest containing Infinity Cloth holds the completed Loom output.

When returning to a project after another activity, check the finished cloth count again. Calculations based on yesterday's supplies can be wrong if those pieces were used for a weapon or Lunar Garou item in the meantime. Counting the output directly is quicker than repeating a large powder run that may not be needed.

Diagnose an Incomplete Recipe

The Loom has powder but no valid cloth input. Confirm that the first ingredient is Desert Cloth. Mystic Cloth or Fine Cloth belongs to another material chain and is not the listed substitute.

The available powder looks sufficient but the target batch is short. Divide the powder total into complete groups of nine. Leftovers below nine do not provide another cloth, even if you still have spare Desert Cloth.

A finished robe cannot be crafted despite owning the cloth. Check the exact piece, its supporting ingredients, and the Armour Bench. The Loom makes the intermediate material; it does not complete the armour recipe.

The batch uses more inputs than expected. Recount the target from the remaining cloth deficit. A twelve-cloth full-set calculation should not be repeated in full if the hat, legs, or some finished cloth are already available.
